GO ON A BATQUEST

Bats are unusual animals and endangered. On this BatQuest, it is your mission to find out the truth about bats. You've heard of "blind as a bat." In this quest, it will be your duty to find out many of the wonders of bats and kispel the myths about bats. Choose one of the projects below to complete. Use the resource list to help you find the information you will need to complete your quest.

 

QUEST I

Write a story about a bat family. use information about their life cycle and family life from some of these websites.

QUEST II

Find out some fun facts about Vampire Bats. Do they really drink blood? Where do they live?

 

QUEST III

Read some of the poems at the Bat Poet Page and then write a poem about bats. If you like, we will send in your poem to be added to the webpage.

 

QUEST IV

Learn about the Big Brown bat. Now print out a Big Brown bat color page. Color and cut out the picture. Paste it on a poster board. Add facts about the Big Brown bat around your picture.
