It's a butterfly!

A butterfly is one of the most amazing creatures on Earth. They live everywhere people live, even in the heart of the city. You can hunt them in wild and weedy places, invite them into your yard, or even raise them in your own classroom.

    Introduce the topic and allow the students to share personal experiences that they have had with butterflies.

Provide opportunities for the children to do field work and speak to experts on the subject of butterflies. Children are given resources to investigate and learn about butterflies at their own level of basic skills, constructions, drawing, music and dramatic play.
